RONDO showcases many innovations at the iba exhibition

True to the motto " Dough-how & more" RONDO presents, new technology and innovative processes for the production of premium bakery products in the areas of bread, rolls, pizza, and pastries, particularly croissant, at iba , in Hall A1 Stand 111.

The Swiss manufacturer of dough processing machines and systems will be exhibiting, on more than 1000 m2, many innovations and enhancements for artisanal and automated as well for industrial production. New at RONDO’s booth is RONDO Industrial Solutions (RIS). RIS is the RONDO contact for industrial customers, when it comes to industrial technology, processes, plant designs and selling industrial bakery technology.

RONDO CS – A new generation of industrial croissant systems
For industrial croissant production, RONDO presents the newly developed industrial croissant system RONDO CS at iba. This modular system for the production of croissants offers modular standardised solutions, thereby meeting the different requirements of industrial customers for capacity and flexibility. The heart of the RONDO CS is the newly developed twin turning unit, where two rows of croissants are turned simultaneously. Thus, the RONDO CS achieves a maximum production capacity of more than 150,000 croissants per hour (at 17 rows production) and in the best product quality in terms of curling and uniformity. Besides RONDO CS, RIS will be showing the new MIDOS universal industrial dough band former for bread lines processing soft dough and pre-fermented dough. Of course all these systems are designed in the famous ASTec design (Advanced Sanitary Technology) according to the latest hygiene guidelines.

CROMASTER - the compact croissant machine for high productivity
For the first time, RONDO shows at iba the newly developed Cromaster, a croissant machine for an hourly output between 4000 (2-row production) and 24,000 croissants (8-row production) per hour. In addition to its compact and space-saving design, Cromaster is characterized by a high process reliability. The adjustable (patent pending) curling unit allows the production of both, firm and loose curled croissants. Cromaster is a very flexible solution, for filled and unfilled croissants, it can be fed from a reversible sheeter or automatically.

A completely new generation of production lines
For iba, RONDO has completely redesigned its medium size lines: the modular laminating concept - MLC, universal feeding line - Smartline, universal croissant machine - Curl & More and the powerful make-up line – Starline. These innovations are shown for the first time at iba. The focus of the development efforts was the highest throughput, best hygiene properties and ease of operation. Through revised design, the hygienic properties have been improved and a new generation of control systems from Siemens simplify the operation. In conjunction with new drive concepts, the running properties have been significantly improved. This whole new generation of Starline, Smartline, Curl & More and MLC is characterised by lower energy consumption and higher precision. These lines are designed for 24/7 operation.

CODEX by Rondo
Next to the RONDO stand is the booth of its daughter company CODEX by Rondo. Under the slogan "Feel the Process" a ground-breaking method for continuous dough production under pressure and vacuum is presented. This new system from CODEX by Rondo for the production of puff, Danish and croissant dough, can also handle bread and pizza dough. It is, to date, the only system, which extrudes a continuous dough band directly onto the production line for further processing. We are especially proud that CODEX is now being used very successfully for the industrial production of pastries.

Trade fair visitors can experience all of the RONDO machines at close quarters during numerous demonstrations. The products shown range from pastries, through loaves of bread and finger food, through to mini-croissants. The Dough-how World presents product ideas

As always, welcoming visitors to the RONDO booth 111 in hall A1, will be the combined expertise of the whole RONDO team, available to answer questions on all aspects of manufacturing processes and production equipment for baked goods. The new unit "RONDO Industrial Solutions" - an independent group for consultation and sales of industrial equipment - will also be available to provide advice for industrial customers and act as a consultant and technology provider.

A visit to the RONDO booth in Hall A1 is therefore worthwhile for all visitors from artisanal and industrial bakeries who want to find out about innovative ideas and pioneering concepts.
