Eight months before the expo, over 50% of the exhibition space has been confirmed, a figure that is considerably better that that of the same period twelve months ago.

GastroPan 2013 review - The largest specialized exhibition in Romania

The balance of GastroPan 2013 - The largest specialized exhibition in RomaniaThe fifth edition of the international GastroPan exhibition attracted 20,613 visitors who were looking for the latest and most effective solutions for the development of their businesses. On a 10,000 square meters area exhibited 132 exhibitors from 24 countries, the program was enriched by numerous demonstrations supported by the most talented Romanian and foreign specialists, and by the competitions where attended over 150 bakers, confectioners and cooks.

The high development of the exhibition comparing to last year shows that - although the industry is seriously affected by crisis - the operators and manufacturers in the field were extremely interested in business recovery solutions. Providers from the bakery, confectionery, pastry, milling and food service industries have responded to these needs by adapting their offers to the realities of the current market. Therefore, they showed solutions and technologies to help their clients to traverse this difficult period.

The balance of GastroPan 2013 - The largest specialized exhibition in RomaniaCompared to the 2012 edition, this year the GastroPan exhibitor area has increased by 65%, the number of exhibitors by 24% and of the visitors by 46%. The number of countries represented at the exhibition stands has increased by 50%, while the average area occupied by stands increased by 62%. Many exhibitors held at their own boots dozens of demo shows to convince visitors about the efficiency of their technologies, equipment and ingredients. Throughout the four days of the exhibition 20 talented artisan masters sustained demonstrations of sugar, chocolate, gingerbread and marzipan modeling, fruit and vegetable carving, cooking shows and cake decorating sessions.

The Competition Area was one of the main attractions of the event. The most talented bakers, confectioners and chefs displayed daily their talent on 1,000 square meters, presenting the most exquisite breads, pastry products, cakes, culinary dishes and artistic pieces of dough, chocolate, sugar, fruit and vegetables. At the 9 competition categories raced 150 bakers, confectioners and cooks, and the biggest prizes were the trophies for The Bread, Cake and Ice cream of the year 2013.

GastroPan Exhibition strengthened its position as the leading event for bakery, confectionery and food service industries. The organizers would like to thank all the exhibitors, visitors, professional associations, competitors, jury members and partners who supported this event!
